Could Sexism Actually Help H.Clinton Win the Presidency?

I will admit that I am a Hillary Clinton supporter. It didn't work out for her during the 2008 presidential election, but looking forward to 2016, she is the front-runner for the Democratic party. I found an interesting article on Washington Post about how the often outspoken sexism of Republican leaders and figureheads might actually help Clinton win the presidency. Don't worry, you don't need to be a Hillary fan to enjoy the article! It is an interesting perspective on how negative societal views on women's rights may help shape the upcoming election. Will enough women be so turned off by Republican comments that they would vote Democrat over that issue alone? I'm not sure I agree with the article, but regardless; it will be interesting to see what happens!

  1. I found this article very interesting due to all sorts information provided through it, like the changes in social media and the reminders of how many hateful things have been said about women. I do not know enough about Hillary Clinton to like/dislike her, but I think the article implied that there are feminists and then there are Republicans. I don't think this is accurate, and I loathe generalizations (though I in no way always practice what I preach), but I understand the point the author was getting at.
