Here is a link to a pinterest page that I thought was very neat. For my International Women's Issues class we had to watch a movie called Half the Sky. I encourage everyone to watch it sometime because it is very inspiring.

I watched Half the Sky two years ago for a sorority related event. It really opened my eyes not just to the problems women are encountering across the world but all to the solutions people are finding. This made me realize that we often focus on the fact that there is a problem and do not look at how we can fix it or make things better. The women in the documentary were so strong and brave in their efforts. I hope more people see this film and decide to help with the solutions.
