"Quotas" to garner qorkplace eqaulity

  This news piece is interesting because it displays both opposing and favoring views on the use of quotas to gain workplace equality for women.   One side argues that quota are a necessary and favorable way to get equality in the workplace.  Other say this does not work, citing examples of when quotas failed to bolster equality (this IMF commission attempted to use quotas, but actually saw a decrease in women's participation).    This just goes to show that an age old debate over what is the best method to advance women's rights is still alive.
