So whenever we talk about "suffragettes" in class this song from Mary Poppins comes to mind. I think it really shows what they were fighting for and its a good song so I thought I would share it!
I really thought I was the only one who thought about this song during class. I find it interesting because initially, this character wasn't supposed to have a job. But the writers felt it would make it more realistic to give a job and made her a suffragette.
