Respectfully sharing our thoughts on women, on politics, and on life.

This came across my Facebook the other day. Dove health and beauty made this to help girls now-a-days realize that they are beautiful without having to look like what the media shows or how "everyone else looks." They want women to feel that they are beautiful without all the makeup, products, or designer clothes. Doves mission is to empower women to embrace natural beauty by creating products that strengthen their skin and hair without altering their natural beauty. By doing this they have created the Campaign for Real Beauty and the Self Esteem Fund. This is to have women embrace a wider definition of beauty. This is an important issue for both genders to consider. Everyone is beautiful.
Kaleigh, I watched this video, too, except it was the extended version. I think about it a lot whenever I'm snapchatting, or whatever. I was thinking about posting it, so I'm glad you did!
I saw this video a while ago, and I thought it was a really interesting concept. Technology always seems to bring odd blessings and curses with it. For example- we now have the ability to redefine what images we want seen of ourselves with the 'selfie' but with this also comes the ability (and for some they believe it a right) to comment or degrade these images. I'm acutely interested in how technology will impact our social interactions in the future.
