A Republican state lawmaker apologized after controversial beliefs, including that a man should be allowed to rape a woman if abortion is legal, apologized after comments he had said years prior were released on the Internet. State Rep. Lawrence Walkman apologized for his comments, but Democratic lawmakers are already calling for his resignation. I found the lawmaker's opinions to be very disturbing and ignorant.

I came across Lawrence Lockman's quote last week in a picture and almost lost my head! I have so many issues with his opinion! When I first saw it, I didn't believe that if was true. I guess I gave him too much benefit of the doubt! It never ceases to amaze me the things that are said about rape!
