This is an interesting article about loving "a girl who doesn't know how to be loved." But I think the items on this list apply to all relationships. Talk, support and patience are factors every relationship needs.
The final point is something that my parents have always taught me and I think it is so important yet never said. "Don’t be two halves of a whole, be two wholes that make an even greater whole." It is important to first be your own self. Then you should only be in relationships that make you a better you. My parents always told me relationships don't take 50% of effort from each person. It takes 100% effort from both. You should not meet halfway but go all the way for the person you love. What do you think?
