International Women's Day

March 7^th marked International Women’s Day, and The Independent asked its female writers 5 questions relating to women’s history and women in politics. Questions like, “where have you seen the most conspicuous failings for women’s rights in the past year?” provide a variety of unique answers that cross different facets of society. Feminism is also a topic for one of the questions, “what do you think has been the most important step forward for feminism in the last year?.” You get a lot of different perspectives on these issues.
