Martha McSally

Martha McSally raised almost half a million dollars during the first quarter of 2014. This is a large sum for a challenger running against an incumbent, especially considering in the 9th District in Arizona Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema is a good fundraiser and has only been raising roughly $350,000 a quarter. McSally is a top Republican recruit for Congress this cycle against Congressman Ron Barber. She barely lost the race in 2012 even though Mitt Romney won the district by two points. However, McSally is trailing in cash on hand. This should be another close race considering it is a closely divided district and the midterms, in which Republicans tend to do better.
