I'm a huge poetry fan,
but this video is so much more than your everyday poem.
It is stunning, moving, and upsetting.
I takes your breath away and rushes through your body all at once.
Not a bad way to spend 3:30, eh?

ReplyDeleteUgh! Man- that was powerful. This is part of the reason that I LOVE SLAM poetry. I have recently seen a lot of articles/videos etc. challenging the stereotypes associated with rape (mostly because I've been arguing with people about them, and I like to be well informed). With all of the legislation concerning rape and body autonomy, I think things like this are very relevant. Thanks for sharing.
