"Feminist" as a taboo word

Everyone has taken to referring to the fabulous Beyonce as "Queen B" and I am no exception....but did you know she avoids calling herself a feminist? Many celebs do nowadays, as this article so bluntly pointed out. Now, the article was long and I struggled toward the end but it really was a profound piece. What catches my attention is that it was a response to political action (won't give spoilers). However, Ellen Page (Juno, for those who need the reference, as I did) is exceedingly open about modern day feminism and sexism she's encountered in Hollywood.
