Just wow! Cannot believe two women wrote this kind of Bill!!

So when I found this article about a new bill Alabama is purposing, I thought about how a woman would never write such a bill. I mean this purposed bill would allow any hospital staff members, from doctors to counselors and everyone in between to be able to refuse to partake in any stage of an abortion. Now I understand people being against elective abortions but the bill allows for refusal from being apart of any abortion. This means that every ER doctor could refuse to help a woman whose fetus is killing her. I understand where this bill is coming from but it is not thinking about how a pregnancy can go wrong and the only way to save the mother is an abortion. There are examples throughout the world, like the story of Savita Halappanavar of Ireland, who died as a result of a blood poisoning from her fetus after the hospital where she lived denied her an abortion which she needed to save her life. Countless of things can happen during pregnancy, resulting in an abortion being the best or only course of treatment to save a woman's fertility or even life. Therefore allowing hospital staff to refuse performing the needed course of treatment is wrong. It is the same as refusing to treat someone because they have a different belief system. Well the biggest shocker of all here though is the idea of allowing doctors to not help a person in need but that the two reps who put their names of this bill were both women. It is sad two women would be so single minded in their battle to stop abortions by any means, they in turn put women with pregnancies that are literally killing them at a huge risk of not being able to get life saving treatment.
