There Are Still Few Women At The Top Of Fortune 500 Companies, Says Report

There still not many women in "the game." There are still 135 fortune 500 companies that don't have women in leadership positions. The article states that there have been little or no increase when researching the companies of women earning executive positions. There is no question that there are more than enough women capable for the positions. With this two-thirds of the companies don't have women of color as board members. Only 21 of the fortune 500 companies have female CEO's. The author of the article states that without the women in executive positions there are not many role models for young girls to aspire to be like and want to join the business world. "Shareholders beware: a company with no women at the top is missing one of the biggest opportunities in the marketplace today."
