"Not for Ourselves Alone" discussion point/ Timelines

One interesting point that I recall from the video was the mention of the number of states that move to grant women's suffrage before America, the self declared land of the free.   Here is a Wiki timeline that sums the situation up rather neatly  accolades for providing such a credible citation, I know).   This list includes states in America as well as foreign nations in the order that they extend voting right to women (only the states that made accomdations before.
One of the most interesting points to note is the short live and rescinded attempt by New Jersey to extend certain rights to female who were left land as widows.    It's always also interesting to consider that Wyoming, the Dakotas, Nebraska, or other western territory states that are now rural conservatives, used to be home to the frontier progressives.
Also, this next link contains a list of state by the order of ratification including those that joined after Tennessee.  See Ratification Timeline. "Yay" for Indiana for not being Mississippi! :)
