On a local note

Since we open up every class with what is going on in the world, this is something amazing going on in Muncie. This article describes a project going on with several Ball State students that is changing lives for the better. Take a few minutes to at least watch the video. It is extremely touching to learn how much music impacts the soul.

My grandmother recently past away and the most difficult part for her was forgetting. Fortunately, she never got to this point. I remember though, sitting with her listening to 40s music on her favorite radio station. As some songs would play her eyes would light up and she would share a new story. Because of music, my entire family continued learning about my 95 year-old grandmother until the end.
