Women and Seniority in Congress

I find this article interesting due to the attention it is recieving so many months before the caucus even selects a new ranking member for the panel. Over the last decade, women in the House have been gaining more and more leadership roles. Also, in the Senate women have been claiming more and more gavels on committees and the retirements are only helping them gain more.
