AZ09 Congressional fundraising

Even though Arizona's 9th Congressional District is very competitive, Republicans have not been doing too well. Incumbent Democrat Kyrsten Sinema has been outraising the Republicans in every quarter and maintains a healthy lead in the money war. In the past quarter, Sinema more than doubled the fundraising of all the Republicans in the race while building an advantage of almost a million dollars without the threat of a primary challenger. The Arizona primary doesn't take place until late August allowing her to save her primary funds until the fall season when they will be most needed in the pricey Phoenix air market.
