- Marvel has it's own island at (I believe) Universal Studios. These characters could appear there. Now the flip side of that is the fact that Captain America and Thor are making appearances in the Disney parks. I think they should return to Universal as well. Disney parks are all about the classics and animation.
- The Mulan argument - she dresses up as a dude for most of the movie. Having a woman would be admirable but cause SUCH controversy. Especially for the youngins who haven't seen Mulan (it is a bit before their time)
- The argument is well made. It briefly touches on including Merida, but that's actually a huge deal that she's there. Along with Ana and Elsa. Disney isn't picking favorites, they're being logical.
- Why can't a girl look up to a princess just because she's being gentle and is all done up? These kids aren't just looking at the dresses, contrary to popular belief.

Women in Disney
Fun fact about me number one: I appreciate anything in reference to Disney. Which is why I chose to read this article. But as I got further into it, I found myself getting irritated. For those who choose not to read it, here's a synopsis. Hypable, a popular entertainment news site, argues that yes, Disney has gotten better about the types of princesses they include at the parks. But, this writer feels that Disney is still being superficial regarding appearances, making sure princesses are always pure and flowery and gentle. So, the writer thinks Disney needs to diversify and add the strong female characters from other Disney franchises, like Marvel. So here's why this bothered me.
