Pharrell's new album "G I R L" changes the views on music today. He is trying change the way music portrays women. Pharrell has been featured in "racy" and "womanizing" songs. He thought after some of his work that he need to clarify his views on women. Through his songs he want to make awaking the gender imbalance that is continuing in society. Songs on his album are "Marilyn Monroe"attacking the beauty standards society has on women and "Hunter" is a song from the perspective of a women. The is a great change for music and I hope his message touches other artist to do the same.
